VIC'S JOURNEY
The Beginnings
Vic commenced Building Surveying in Local Government, and then joined KD in 1999. Vic rapidly developed into one of South Australia’s leading building surveyors and has been responsible for the certification of a large number of projects from residential developments through to large scale commercial, retail, industrial, aged care and institutional projects.
Became a partner
Vic has further developed close and productive relationships throughout the development industry and has developed specialist skills within the aged care and access sectors. Of more recent times, Vic has played an important role in many of South Australia’s landmark building and infrastructure projects such as the Desalination Plant, New Royal Adelaide Hospital and Future Submarine Projects.

SENIOR BUILDING SURVEYOR
Kanchanie Indiketiyahewage
Level 1 Building Surveyor
Kanchanie has over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry in the areas of structural & civil design, construction & project management on projects ranging in size from housing to large commercial developments.
She brings extensive international experience to KD having spent 4 years in Norway and over 7 years in China working in engineering and construction with multi-national entities. These included the United States Embassy – Construction Department, AT&T and Siemens Ltd head-quarters in Beijing. In 2002 Kanchanie joined the KD team where she gained her qualifications as a building surveyor.
Kanchanie has expanded her expertise through involvement on a large range of commercial and residential projects. Her engineering experience and qualifications both as a Civil & Structural Engineer has substantially enhanced KD’s depth of expertise in this area. Kanchanie is a quietly confident person who works to a high technical and professional level.

Zoran Tanaskovic
Level 1 Building Surveyor
Since joining KD Building Certifiers Zoran has quickly expanded his knowledge of commercial developments and is now responsible for a range of assessments including multi-storey hotel/residential developments, hospital additions, aged care and industrial developments.
Zoran has a customer focused attitude and is always willing to assist our clients in obtaining the best possible outcome for their projects.

Darryl Johns
Level 2 Building Surveyor
Darryl’s building industry experience commenced on site as a tradesman developing a broad knowledge of building and the building industry. Studies in building surveying resulted in a move to local government where he gained extensive experience in a range of development types from domestic to multi storey residential and commercial buildings. This time in government also provided Darryl with invaluable experience in the areas of project management and asset management.
Darryl has over 20 years’ experience and has been responsible for a wide range of projects including domestic, as well as small and large scale commercial. Darryl’s customer focus, love of problem solving and outstanding people skills has made him the desired point of contact for many in the building industry.

BUILDING SURVEYOR
Frank Perrone
Frank’s building industry knowledge is broad based and extensive, with over 26 year’s experience in building design and documentation. His projects traversed all sectors including, residential, industrial and commercial, specialising in large scale mixed use apartment buildings.
Since joining KD in 2022, Frank has completed his studies to obtain his qualifications as a Building Surveyor at the University of South Australia.
With his unique skillset, intimate knowledge of the approval process, coupled to his helpful nature and strong customer focus, he has the attributes to assist applicants in the approval process.

QUALITY & BUSINESS MANAGER
Annmarie Barone
Annmarie joined the KD team in 2020 with extensive experience in Quality & Risk Management. Annmarie has established and maintained QMS’s within various sectors such as the manufacture of Medical Devices, Therapeutic product and service delivery contracts such as Facility Management and Aged Care.
These skills & knowledge base contribute to the KD team by assisting the Director with fee submissions, business performance and risk management. Annmarie is responsible for maintaining KD’s Quality Management System and overseeing day to day activities.

ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
Tatiana Londono
Tatiana joined KD in 2024 and is a dedicated Administration Officer, specialising in enhancing office efficiency, and supporting daily operations. Committed to fostering a productive work environment and supporting team goals to streamline operational efficiency.
